What does "1 year warranty, on-site in the school" mean?

Our 1 year warranty gives you the assurance that our products are free from manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year. Within this 1 year, if there are any inherent problems (i.e. not caused by the user) with the product, we will repair the device free of charge.

Our on-site warranty ("on-site in the school") means that you do not need to bring the faulty device to us - we will collect it from the school.

Your child/ward simply needs to bring the device to the school and we will pick it up from there.

After repair, we will return the device to the school and your child/ward just needs to collect it from the school.

What does "Chrome Care (+2 year extended warranty), on-site in the school" mean?

The extended warranty extends the basic warranty for an additional of 2 years making it a total of 3 years.

The on-site option means your child/ward also enjoys the same convenience in the school for any repair issues.

What about battery warranty?

The warranty period on batteries is only for 1 year. The extended warranty (i.e. Chrome Care) does not cover the warranty on batteries. In other words, Chrome Care extends the warranty on all parts of the device with the exception of batteries.

Does Chrome Care cover all device models?

No. The extended warranty sold by GSA Pte Ltd is only applicable for Acer and Edxis models. Any extended warranty on any other brands is to be honoured by the OEM.

What does "Chromebook Shield for protection against accidental damages" mean?

The basic and extended warranty gives you the assurance that our products are free from manufacturing defects.

The Chromebook Shield gives you the peace of mind against accidental damages.

If the Chromebook is accidentally damaged, you can send it to us for repair at a lower cost.

If the total repair cost is $300 or less, you just need to pay $80.

If the total repair cost exceeds $300, you just need to pay $160.

If the device is beyond repair, you can do a replacement for the device and just pay $160 (as compared to paying the full sum for a replacement device).

The shield can only be used to do either 2 repairs below $300 or 1 repair above $300 whichever occurs first.
